Slow and Steady

take it slow and steady

I’ve decided that learning should takes its lessons from the turtle. Slow, and steady. It’s not a new concept, but there it is.

I’m coming up on the end of the Hacking Chinese Character Challenge, and I honestly am not sure where I am. I haven’t counted my characters recently, but I’ve fairly consistently been working on them. If I don’t make my goal to 100% it will be ok. I sort of realized, just finishing without quitting is what matters the most at the moment.

Starting back to school has been a HUGE adjustment, and the last thing I want to do each day is more learning. I’ve mainly shifted my Chinese to occur in the morning’s because otherwise it just doesn’t get done. It’s funny, but the really important things seem to get lost if I don’t do them first.

Finish line: 7 days.  I should be able to knock out around 40 characters between now and then, so I should be alright. See you at the finish line!
