When you can’t move forward, maybe it’s time to move back. Things on the language front have been sporadic at best, and so I’m going back. I know, the last post I wrote was about goals, but really as we come to the end of the year I completely forgot my goals even existed.

I’ve been going back really to almost the beginning, trying to remember what I learned and somehow retain things.

I have noticed that even at this early stage my first language is being affected. I struggle for words and mix up sounds for the alphabet. This happened in a massive way when I started to learn Korean. A friend says that according to an article she read this is a good sign. When I get the article I’ll be posting about that.
